Each pair is crafted from the best bits of your shirt, featuring the original button placket, pocket (if available), and shirt maker’s label, carefully sewn into your new knickers. They’ll arrive beautifully gift-wrapped, accompanied by the lovingly tattered remains of your shirt.

Where do the shirts come from?
Truly works closely with local charity shops across Somerset, who regularly contact the studio with their latest shirt arrivals. Shirts range from high street classics like Marks & Spencer and Jeff Banks to luxury labels such as Charles Tyrwhitt and Sartoria Rossi.
With formalwear donations rising and demand dropping, this collaboration gives these beautifully made shirts a fresh and imaginative future. What was once a masculine, corporate garment becomes something playful, sustainable, and delightfully unexpected—a joyful pair of Truly Knickers!
