Work Experience & Internships at Truly Sopel
Are you a student, graduate, or creative soul looking to gain hands-on experience in fashion, retail, and running a small business? At Truly Sopel, we offer work experience placements and internships in our boutique studio and shop in the heart of Frome, Somerset from April to November each year.
This is your chance to step inside a working lingerie fashion label and boutique, experiencing firsthand how an independent fashion brand comes to life — all while working alongside Truly.
What You’ll Be Involved In
Placements are varied and can be tailored to your skills and interests. Tasks may include:
Studio work: Assisting in the studio with sewing, trimming, and finishing touches
- Event prep: Helping to prepare for workshops and events
- Shop duties: Supporting day-to-day shop tasks, from styling displays to welcoming customers and keeping everything looking delightful
- Creative tasks: Assisting with mood boarding and window dressing
- Practical support: Helping with stock organisation, packaging, and online shop tasks
- Business insight: Learning what goes into running a small fashion business from start to finish

- Anyone with a passion for fashion and textiles, who’d love to learn more
